No leads
Why your website is not generating leads, and how to fix it
A website that brings no leads usually has one of three problems: the right people do not visit, visitors do not act, or leads arrive and get lost. Each has a different fix, so the first job is finding out which.
Does this sound like your site?
- The contact form has been silent for weeks, and nobody is sure it works
- Analytics shows visitors, but the phone does not ring
- The few messages that arrive are job seekers, sales pitches and spam
- Your ad account reports conversions your team never saw
- A lead turns up in an inbox three days after it was sent
- Competitors with weaker sites seem busier than you
The usual causes, most frequent first
| Cause | What we usually find |
|---|---|
| Leads lost after they arrive | Form emails going to spam or to an old address, a phone number that is not clickable on mobile, WhatsApp on someone’s personal phone, calls after hours with no voicemail |
| No clear next step | A homepage with five buttons, a contact page with a long form, no phone number visible on mobile, no price range, so people leave to compare |
| The wrong visitors | Traffic from blog posts unrelated to what you sell, from countries you do not serve, or from bots |
| Too few visitors | No page for each service and place people search, an empty Google Business Profile, no ads |
| A slow or awkward mobile site | Pages that take seconds to load on a phone, buttons hidden behind pop-ups, forms that fail on some browsers |
| An offer nobody can judge | No prices, no photos of real work, no reviews, no named people: nothing that lets a stranger trust you enough to call |
How we diagnose it in the first two weeks
Test every way in
We submit each form, call each number, send a WhatsApp message, and time the answer. Then we check where the form emails actually go.
Read the data
Search Console, analytics and ad accounts: who visits, from which searches and campaigns, on which pages and devices.
Compare visits with leads
Plenty of the right visitors and no leads is a conversion problem. Few visitors is a traffic problem. Leads in the ad account but not in your inbox is a handling problem.
Search like a buyer
We look for your service the way a buyer would, compare you with the three businesses that appear first, and write down why someone would pick them.
Rank the fixes
By the end of week two you have a list of fixes ranked by effect and effort, with the number we will watch for each one.
What we fix first
Lead capture, because it is cheap and immediate. Every form tested and sent to a shared place, the phone number clickable on every page, WhatsApp on a business account, every lead stored with its source. Our booking forms save the name and phone number at the first step, so even a half-finished form leaves you someone to call.
Then the next step on the pages that already get traffic: one clear action per page, phone and WhatsApp visible on mobile, a short form, a price range where you can give one.
Traffic comes last. More visitors into a leaking site only makes the leak bigger. Once the site turns visits into leads, we add search or ads, depending on how fast you need results and what you can spend.

Frequently asked questions
How many leads should my website bring?
It depends on your traffic, sector and offer, so any figure here would be a guess. After the diagnosis we can tell you how many of your visitors are the right people, and how many of those act.
Do I need a new website?
Rarely as the first step. Most sites that bring no leads can be fixed with changes to capture, pages and tracking. A redesign makes sense when the site cannot be edited, is very slow, or no longer matches what you sell.
How long until leads come in?
Fixes to lead capture show within days, because they recover leads you were already getting. Page changes take a few weeks to measure. New traffic from ads starts quickly; from SEO it builds over months.
Leads come in, but they are poor. Is that the same problem?
No, that is a targeting or message problem. If ads bring them, see ads that spend but don’t sell. If the site attracts them, the pages are speaking to the wrong people.
Can you fix this without touching our ads?
Yes. Capture and page fixes work for every source of traffic, paid or not. We often leave ads running as they are during the first weeks, so the before and after are comparable.
