Redesign

Website redesign services that keep your rankings

A redesign is the quickest way to lose years of search traffic in a weekend. It is also the right fix for a site that looks dated and books nobody. We run it in an order that keeps what works.

Why redesigns lose traffic

Traffic losses after a redesign usually come from the same short list. Old URLs that now return a 404. Pages that ranked, merged or cut because they looked untidy. Titles and headings rewritten for style. Internal links dropped from the new menu. The staging site’s noindex rule left in place on launch day.

None of these are design problems. They happen because nobody inventoried the old site, so nobody knew which pages brought the visits and the leads before the new structure was drawn. It is technical SEO work as much as design work.

We start with that inventory. The design comes second, and it is better for it, because it is built around the pages that already earn.

How we run a redesign

  1. Inventory the old site

We crawl every URL and pull the last year of Search Console and analytics data. Each page gets a verdict: keep, merge, rewrite or drop.

  2. Find what converts

Form, call and WhatsApp data shows which pages produce appointments. Those pages keep their substance, whatever the new look.

  3. Design and build

New structure, new design, faster pages, built the way we build every new website.

  4. Write the redirect map

Every old URL with traffic, links or leads points to its closest new page with a 301 redirect. You see the map before launch.

  5. Test on staging

On a hidden copy we check redirects, titles, canonical tags, hreflang, structured data, forms and tracking. At launch we lift the noindex rule and confirm it is gone.

  6. Watch after launch

For the first weeks we read Search Console every day, fix crawl errors and compare rankings and leads against the old baseline.

What changes besides the look

Faster pages

Heavy themes and stacked scripts go. We check Core Web Vitals on real visits before and after.

Forms that keep the lead

Your forms move to our booking forms, which save the name and phone before the calendar step.

Tracking you can trust

Dead tags removed, sources tagged, each lead followed to the booking in Napexy CRM.

Languages done properly

French, English and Arabic each get their own addresses and hreflang tags, with right-to-left layouts for Arabic.

Security cleanup

Unused plug-ins, old admin accounts and missing security headers are removed or fixed during the move.

What you receive

  • A URL inventory with a verdict for each page
  • The redirect map, tested before and after launch
  • A baseline of rankings, traffic and leads from the old site

  • Launch-day checks and a log of every fix
  • Daily Search Console checks in the weeks after launch

Frequently asked questions

Will we lose rankings during a redesign?

Some movement in the first weeks is normal while Google re-crawls the site. A lasting drop usually means missing redirects or removed content, which the inventory and the redirect map are there to prevent. Nobody can promise zero movement. We check every day and fix errors as they appear.

Can we change our domain name at the same time?

Yes, with redirects from every old URL and the change of address tool in Search Console. It adds risk on top of a redesign, so we do it only for a good reason, such as a new brand name.

Our traffic already dropped. Will a redesign fix it?

Maybe not. Find the cause first: a traffic drop can come from a Google update, a technical error or a competitor. A redesign on top of an unknown problem hides it.

Can you redesign a WordPress site?

Yes. We can rebuild it on WordPress, leaner and faster, or move it to Astro or Next.js if nobody on your team edits pages. The redirect map works the same either way.

How much does a website redesign cost?

It depends on the size of the old site, how many pages change and how much content we rewrite. Our website cost guide explains each factor.
