Branding

Branding and brand identity design

Your brand is what a buyer remembers after scrolling past your ad, and what makes them trust the page they land on. We build identities that still work at the size of a WhatsApp profile picture.

What a brand has to do for a business that sells

For a clinic, a law firm or a property developer, the brand has one commercial job: to make a stranger trust you before meeting you. That trust is decided in places you may not think about. The photo on your Google Business Profile. The WhatsApp avatar. The first frame of a video ad. The sign above the door.

So we design for those places first. A logo that only works on a large white page fails in a round profile picture a few millimetres wide. A palette that looks elegant on a monitor can fail contrast checks on a phone in daylight.

Positioning comes before any of it. If you cannot say in one sentence who you serve and why they should pick you over the clinic down the road, no logo will say it for you.

How we build a brand identity

  1. Positioning workshop

Who you serve, what you promise, what you refuse to be. We leave with one sentence everyone agrees on.

  2. Market scan

How competitors in your city and sector present themselves, so your identity stands apart in the same feed.

  3. Concepts

A small number of distinct directions, each shown in use: a sign, an ad, a profile picture, a business card.

  4. Refine and test

The chosen direction is refined, then checked at small sizes, in one colour, in Arabic and Latin script, and for contrast.

  5. Brand guide and files

A guide your team and suppliers can follow, with every file they will ask you for.

What a brand identity includes

Positioning and messaging

Your one-sentence positioning, key messages and the proof behind each one, ready for your website copy and ads.

Logo system

A main logo, a compact mark, one-colour versions and a favicon, each tested at its real size.

Colour and type

A palette that passes contrast checks, and typefaces that pair Arabic and Latin script without one looking borrowed.

Imagery

Rules for photography and illustration. For trust, real photos of your team and premises beat stock images.

Tone of voice

How you sound in French, English and Arabic, with examples of what to say and what to avoid.

Templates

Social posts, ad frames and story formats, ready for ad creative testing.

Bilingual and right-to-left identities

A brand sold in Arabic and French, or Arabic and English, has to read well in two scripts and two directions. That affects more than the logo. Arabic and Latin letters have different heights and rhythms, so a pairing that looks balanced in French can look cramped in Arabic.

We check the name too: how it sounds in each language, what it might mean in dialect, how it is spelled in Latin letters, whether the domain and social handles are free. A trademark search is a job for a lawyer, with the trademark office of each country where you sell, and we tell you when to start it.

Files you receive

  • Logo files in vector (SVG, PDF) and image (PNG) formats
  • Favicon and app icons
  • Colour codes for screen and print (HEX, RGB, CMYK)
  • Font files or licence details
  • The brand guide as a PDF
  • Templates for social posts, ads and presentations

Frequently asked questions

How long does a branding project take?

It depends on how much is decided already and how many people sign off. Positioning usually takes longest, because it forces choices. You get a dated plan after the first workshop.

Can you design a logo on its own?

Yes, if your positioning is already clear. Without it, a logo is decoration, and you will probably pay for a second one later.

Do you handle rebrands?

Yes. A rebrand needs a transition plan: website, social profiles, Google Business Profile, signage and documents changed in an order that loses neither customers nor search engines. The site often goes through a redesign.

Can you check that our name is available?

We check domains, social handles and obvious conflicts in your market. Legal clearance and registration go through a trademark attorney.

Do you design for print and signage?

Yes: business cards, signs, brochures and materials for your clinic or showroom, all from the same brand guide.

Does a consistent brand help in AI answers?

Assistants describe you from what they read across the web. The same name and description everywhere make that description more accurate. See AI brand perception.
