Revenue marketing and conversion: from the click to the sale
Most marketing budgets leak after the click: a slow page, a form nobody answers, a lead called back two days later. That stretch, between the click and the sale, is the part we run.

Where the money leaks after the click
Follow one lead from a paid ad. The page takes too long to load on a phone, and some visitors leave there. Those who stay find a form with nine fields. The ones who fill it in wait. If the call comes the next afternoon, the lead has already spoken to two competitors, or forgotten they asked.
None of that shows in the ad account. The platform reports a cheap lead and calls it a success. Sales reports bad leads and calls marketing useless. Both are looking at half the picture, and the budget keeps flowing to whichever campaign produces the most form fills, good or bad.
Revenue work fixes each step in that chain and measures it, so the number you watch is booked appointments and sales by source. Cost per lead on its own says very little; our article on cost per lead explains why.
The steps between a click and a sale
Each step loses some buyers. These are the usual causes, and the service that deals with each.
| Step | What usually goes wrong | What fixes it |
|---|---|---|
| The page | Slow on a phone, vague offer, no price, no proof | Landing pages and conversion work |
| The form | Too many fields; details lost when the visitor stops halfway | Booking forms that save the lead at the first step |
| First contact | A callback hours or days later, by whoever has time | Lead handling with a speed target |
| Follow-up | One attempt, then the lead is marked “no answer” | Sequences on WhatsApp, SMS and email |
| The appointment | No reminder, so the slot is lost to a no-show | Confirmations and reminders |
| The sale | Recorded in a notebook, or nowhere | A CRM the team actually uses |
| The report | Platform numbers that sales does not recognise | Analytics and attribution tied to the CRM |
How to choose where to start
Start where the biggest drop is. A few questions usually show it.
Plenty of leads, few sales
The problem is after the form. Start with lead handling: who calls, how fast, how many times.
Traffic, but few leads
The page and the form are losing people. Conversion rate optimization and landing pages come first.
No idea which campaign sells
Set up analytics and attribution, and call tracking if the phone matters, before moving any budget.
Leads go quiet after first contact
Build follow-up on the channel people read. In many markets, that is WhatsApp.
Several teams, several tools, no shared numbers
That is a revenue operations problem: one pipeline, one set of definitions, one weekly report.
Why we run this part ourselves
Napexy builds its own software for this stretch. Napexy CRM puts every lead in one pipeline and assigns it to the next salesperson. Our booking forms save the name and phone before the calendar. The unified inbox keeps WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram threads on the lead record, and revenue attribution ties each booking to its campaign.
You do not have to use our tools. If your team already works in HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho or Salesforce, we work inside it. What we need is to see past the form, because we are judged on booked appointments, qualified leads and revenue by source, and those numbers live after the click.
Frequently asked questions
Can we hire you for this part alone?
Yes. If your ads already bring leads and the sales do not follow, you can bring us in for the stretch after the click and keep your current ad agency. We only ask to see the same data they see.
What do you need from our sales team?
Access to the CRM, or to whatever records leads today, an hour a week with whoever manages the team, and honesty about what happens to the leads. We design the process, the scripts and the targets, and we measure them. Who makes the calls is agreed with you.
How soon can we see a difference?
Changes after the click apply to leads you already pay for, so they can show in the following weeks: a faster first call or a reminder before each appointment shows up in bookings. Attribution takes longer, because it needs a few weeks of clean data before it says anything reliable.
Do we have to change our CRM?
No. We set up Napexy CRM when you have nothing, or a CRM nobody uses. Otherwise we work in yours. Our page on CRM setup covers both routes.
